Are you liberal or just stupid? asked:

If not, then why would anyone think that spending billions on so called ‘green energy’ SCHIP, Unemployment extensions and so on, will actually ‘help’ create jobs?

gary g asked:

Why are all three presidential candidates promising to bring fuel prices down and at the same time promising to bring CO2 emissions down? If fuel is cheaper, we will use more fuel and CO2 emissions will go up. If fuel prices are high, we will use less fuel and CO2 emissions will go down. How can they possibly be pandering to both sides of this issue at the same time.

Green energy hasn’t been invented, yet they are promising to create millions of new “green jobs”.At best, solar and wind energy will only account for 10 percent of electrical energy and none of transportation energy. Ethanol turned out to be a disaster because it brought about food shortages and drove the price of food up. The democrats are opposed to nuclear energy and drilling for fuel in the ocean. All three of them are opposed to drilling for oil in Alaska.

I am talking about the short term plan for the next four years.

What kind of jobs I can find with solar energy since… everything we know are turning more green. Won’t the jobs outlook for this career be pretty good? Please give me some jobs that for this careers. For some reason, I cant find them. Looks like there aren’t many jobs like this out yet. I mean in this career, I can go into car industry, solar housing industry and probably many more.

Miss Independent asked:

Preferably ones that deal with technology of the future such as robots or “green” houses, as in houses that conserve energy and is good to the environment.

remember us asked:

I’m a recent college grad, but am considering going back to school to learn about the green industry–and it will certainly become a big deal in the years to come. I want to get a green job, but without the necessary education (communications major) and little real world experience I doubt anyone would hire me. So why not start over? Does anyone know what types of green jobs exist? If you have a green job, what do you do? Where did you get your education for preparation for this job? What colleges and universities provide an education in this new field of study? (I live in South Jersey) I’m interested in the environment, clean energy, organic farming, even herbal medicine and supplements–any of these (or maybe some fields i can’t even think of) would be nice to break into. Thanks!!

I’ve always wondered. Because at my job I’m required to wear jewelry and the bracelets tend to turn my wrists green. Why is that? I’ve always thought it was weird.

karen asked:

what do you think America will look like after four years under President Obama. Will there be job growth, green energy and unity? Or do you see economic ruin, more war and a divided union?

Not only are these are efficiently designed and efficient in working, but the cost of these are less as compared to the fuel engine cars that we currently used. Plus, to add to the list, they come in attractive and compact designs which suit almost everybody. Many automobile companies are collaborating with each other and setting up units to develop hybrids cars as they are turning into a need in the future when fuel prices will be above reach for the common man. These are also called as electrical cars or green cars due to their part electrical engine and non pollution emitting aspect respectively. This gives you an average of 20 to 30 gallons of fuel more than the normal cars that we currently use.

Most of these running on the roads right now offer you a combination of a gasoline and an electric engine. The electric part of the engine is charged when the vehicle is in use, and the energy is derived from the gasoline. Some of the more combinations of hybrid car are being worked on, improved and produced in the market currently by some of the most famous companies in the production of automobiles. There is a chance that after a few days all the cars that run on the roads might be converted to hybrid engines in order to save fuel for our future generations.

Hybrid cars are fitted with smaller engines which give them many advantages over normal cars. The bigger engines increase the weight of the car and the car requires more energy on uphill roads leading to more fuel consumption. The pistons in the small engine are small and require less energy to pump and make the engine work. In normal cars, fuel is ****** by the engine even if the car is not moving ahead or is in a standing position. This does not happen in a hybrid car engine. Almost no fuel is consumed when the car is still on but standing at a constant position.

Say What? asked:

Take it this way: Saving the environment (Going green) can help you save green (Money) right? The average American spends a lot of excess money on energy that could be much cheaper than is and renewable as well. And besides, all the environmentalist commercials already told you that the construction on energy generators such as wind vanes, hydro-power dams, and Biomass plants can spike up new jobs immediately. What do you, as the community think?
