Why dont we have electric cars or diesel cars more in the us?

We’ve had electric trains for decades, and in other countries they use diesel cars that get way more better fuel efficiency than gas

so why don’t have electric cars or more diesel cars

What are different countries doing to stop global warming?

I don’t believe in global warming myself, but I was just wondering what steps countries are taking to really do something about what they believe with this issue. Are there really any plans on how they’ll ’stop’ global warming? Also, could someone tell me a bit about the Kyoto thing?
