We all know about global warming, and how it is causing the ice to melt, the earth getting polluted, and all the other things happening to the earth, like rising temperatures and such, but when is it really going to come into effect? When will we experience everything? In 5 or 10 years? In 100 years? In 1000 years? in 10 000 years?
Is there a definite answer? Or will the earth just suddenly ‘die out’ one day?

I haven’t been able to find any credible sources on the history of the polar ice caps. But, I have heard that the polar ice caps have been free of ice many times in the history of the plant. Is this true? If this is true is this big global warming issue a little over blown because this would be just a natural cycle of the earth. This speech needs to be persuasive and 7-9 minutes long. Also, after my speech is done the class will ask me questions regarding my topic(hybrid cars) so I really need some credible research.

Also, if anyone feels strongly about hybrids, tell me why they are so important and people should be concerned….besides the whole global warming/high gas prices thing. I want solid information. Thanks!
