I think Obama will be a great, historic president. The president during the Great Depression who had a similar situation, Franklin D. Roosevelt, was a great president and helped get America into a better economy. Hopefully this time a world war won’t be helping us too!
And you sound like you just heard your parents talking and now are quoting them with “your beliefs.” But don’t worry, most kids/teens (including me) use their parents view because they can’t understand politics well enough since we’re so busy with school and we don’t have the responsibility.

I do not like Obama, I am a Libertarian. I hoped that Hilary Clinton would have been nominated instead of Obama and I hoped that Ron Paul would have been nominated instead of McCain.

Where are the jobs; unemployment is very very high; where are the lower taxes; yea, give money to people who don’t pay a dime worth of taxes yearly; our legacy as a nation is at risk and our children and their children will be paying for this overspending and the big government.

Bush was horrible, but it doesn’t make Obama any better.
1. We should have left Iraq already.
2. He didn’t let the banks give back the Tarp money. In case you didn’t know, he’s refusing to accept the tax dollars that you paid that they loaned to the banks. Why? So banks can be nationalized.
3. He took over GM. He loaned them money, which was a poor decision. Why would he loan them money that they couldn’t pay back? To gain majority ownership.

Yes, Obama promised us many things. He hasn’t done any of them. He’s raised a lot of taxes, hasn’t lowered any. Todate I belive he’s created 25 police jobs for a year and 1,000 new IRS jobs. That’s 1025. He’s cost us 1,000 just at GM, so counting nothing else, he’s spent trillions of dollars on 25 jobs for a year. Awesome.
After 9/11 Bush kept America safe. I say that because we haven’t been attacked on American soil since then, and there were still terrorists out there trying.
